Field names in free tables (and index tags) can be 10 characters at most. Long field names are allowed only for tables in a DBC.

>I have an existing table with several fieldnames that are 11 characters. Modi struc on the file changes these field names to 10 characters. cu_customer becomes cu_custome. Modi struc does not allow entry of (change back to) 11 character field names. Is this a bug?
