Does anyone know how to get one bitmap to show through another on a report?

Here's what I'm talking about (for either VFP 5.0 or 6.0):

1) Create a bitmap picture, put it on a report.
2) Create another bitmap (which includes white space), put it directly on
top of the first bitmap.

In the Report Design window, if the mode of the bitmap on top is marked as
"Transparent", the bottom bitmap will show through the white space of the
top bitmap - creating a merged image of the two.

However, when you print or preview the report, the top bitmap completely
covers the overlapping areas of the bottom bitmap (i.e. the bottom bitmap is
not visible through the white space).

Does anyone know a way to get the white space to be transparent when
previewing or printing (so that the report looks the same as it does in
design mode)?
