Ok... if you want to add a free table to your data environment, here is what you do...

1. Open you business object

2. Select your Data Environment or create a new one.

3. Press ADD in the cursor section.

4. Press the OTHER button

5. Select the free table from the dialog.

6. Press CLOSE on the dialog

You should now see your free table listed as a cursor. If you ONLY have free tables listed, you should go to the second page of the DE frame and uncheck Check Default Database.
