Hi,
this one's driving me crazy. Here's the setup:
executable created in VFP 5.0 and distributed with databases and
VFP500.DLL, VFP5ENU etc. etc. The installation works perfectly on
*many* machines including three laptops. However, on three different
laptops running the exe gives: " The VFP500.DLL file is damaged or
invalid" before the app actually starts. Same thing happens with a
test app (much smaller). Note that the exact same distribution build
works fine when installed on other machines. The error is somehow
machine specific and is a misnomer because even a CRC on the runtime
files verifies ok and is identical on the machine that works and the
one that doesn't. Can anybody shed any light on this?? Please?
Thanks in advance,
