I don't even think they know what a cable modem is yet. I got it through urjet.net formerly interjetnet.net. Also, it's wireless. For $50.00 bucks a month and a one-time setup fee of $250 they bring the modem, out along with an antenna the they install on top of your house. Then they run the cable down to your modem, wherever that may be. I love it and would NEVER go back to 56k modem access. -Rick
That's exactly it. TCI is the absolute WORST cable company I've ever dealt with. Unfortunately they are the biggest cable company here. They have NO plans for cable modems here. Hopefully AT&T will change that when the sale is finalized. I'd like to talk to you about this. I'll give you a call.
