The forms (SCXs) that are created from this form class also do not get this icon property value either? Any idea why this particular property value would not get passed down? Thanks in advance.

Dave,

Like Barbara said the property value gets erased if it can't find the file. I usually keep all my graphics related to a particular project in a dir off the project's directory. After I compile the project I can distribute it without the graphics files. Or, in the case of a form used in a common framework, I leave the icon and caption off the form until it is used in a project.
