I would like to have a method return a color to the same object's backcolor property (this object is a text box).
The idea is to make the backcolor of the object to be dependant on the value in the field. The value in the field changes when a user double clicks on the field, or enters invalid data into another textbox.
The problem is that if I put code into the objects refresh method, the color doesn't always update when the value of the textbox changes.
So my brainstorm is to make this.backcolor = mycolor() and then let the refresh method be empty.
The problem is whatever I return from mycolor() throws an error when I try to instantiate the text box.
Thanks for your help guys!
