Once I created my own which was mostly based on Tasmanian Traders, was not completely satisfied with it and started looking for the commercial framework, but then so happened that I started work on the big Client-Server VFP project for one firm which was using Visual Extend, and then a couple more projects for another firm which also was using VFX - so for now I just know this one very well. :)
I also worked with original Codebook 3 and found it too heavy (that's probably the reason why it's new version called "for Mere Mortals" :)
It is difficult to make a decision about the particular framework until you do a couple (or more) of different projects in it. Any well-developed framework makes some assumptionsabout how it supposed to work with data, and then if you try to do something more sophisticated - the framework puts the limits on you. And the more things the framework does for you - the more limits it is.

>Actually you distrubute executables and type of the framework: your own or 3rd party may not make big difference. Am I wrong ?

Right, for the user it does not make any difference if the app meets all the user requirements. It makes the difference for the developer.
