Yes, the new version makes liberal use of Access & Assign methods as well as several other new features in VFP6, so it won't run under 5.0.

At this point in time, starting in 5.0 would be a waste of time. We'll actually be releasing a converter from the 5.0 version to the 6.0 version after the 6.0 version ships. The 5.0 version is also more difficult to learn and use than the 6.0 version.
