George, I hav experienced the same exact problem with my connection at home as well. I am on a dialup ISDN. And some time after I disconnect after being on line I sometimes get a Blue Screen OD error or something else in the VMM.VXD and this happens quite a bit. I don't even have to have FoxPro running for this to happen. However, note that I also really didn't get this until Visual Studio 6.0 was installed. I also gave this info to Randy Brown some time ago. It seems that there is an issue with something attempting to maintain a connection as if a process is running and then when it calls the connection again it dies. I have seen this get hit as well when in VFP6 and then I get either C..5 or BLUE SCREEN. Now I noticed a little tidbit in John Pereson's book which I got last night about using RAS and using a 3 second timeout to check for the connection to settle after a disconnect and it hit me that there may be some sort of relationship here. I have noticed it the most when I went on line checked mail checked the web and then got off and continued to work and then boom! Well I think you are on to something in the stability issue because I do crash far less when using my TCP/IP at the office through my NIC and not through a dial up connection. Some more thoughts towards a solution and where to look.
