If you have the latest version (4.0) of the manual, look at pages 50-54. There is a good explanation of business objects and setting up parent-child relationships.

The key thing is "To set up a parent-child relationship, specify the parent’s name in the child object’s cParentBizObj property". If you do this, the framework will take of the relationship for you and then you decide how to requery.
