VFP 5 forms, vcxs, projects have the exact same structure as their VFP 5 counterparts, the only difference is the compiled code. An scx, vcx, dbc all contain both source code and object code. THe object code is what is created when you issue a COMPILE, or when you save a form or class.
Since saving a form or class is the action that causes the form or class to be compiled, you can open and save projects across these two versions of VFP with no problems except those created by VFP 6 commands and funcitons that are not supported in VFP 5.
