I guess, using Mr. Green's (attributed) remark that 'if you don't see it by the third update. . .', we will *not* be seeing an OnOpen event for DBFs any time soon (you state it 'has long been requested)!
Sounds like you are still hopeful though. Is that really satisfactory to you? On the one hand you have been told not to expect it if. . . and on the other hand you speak here as if it is still a possibility.
Wouldn't some basic form of feedback on the status of this item be more satisfactory all around?
As to suggesting the same thing except for the fact that he's talking .DBC instead of .DBF (I happen to fel that both are great ideas), why would there be any expectation of any different stance by MS on this request???
Here you are advising someone to use FoxWish when you already have a strong indication that nothing will come of the suggestion.
I just wonder why you would do so?
