>Are there any checks that I can do within the app itself? I really don't want to throw hardware at a potential software problem either. My computer tech suggested variables but I am careful to close them out after every form is destroyed. Additionally, a complete shutdown of the machine (cold boot) and restart of the application doesn' always work. Sometimes (not always) it's just as slow as before. Additionally, it only does this on the workstation in question. I know that messing with my program and it isn't the culprit can really screw things up *g*
I highly doubt that it is your application since that is the only thing you can guarantee is identical on each machine. The most likely problems are that the network client isn't set up properly or Windows isn't.
