Actually, there is an ActiveX scrollbar control. If you have Visual Studio 6, look for "Microsoft Flat Scrollbar Control" in the list that appears when you insert an OLE Control. I used this several times in a recent project and it works fine. We needed to create an object that looks like a grid but really is an editbox. The editbox is wider than its container and the scrollbar was used to "slide" the editbox back and forth to give the appearance of scrolling the data within the grid.
