You can show the text of the memo field by putting an editbox in the grid column instead of the default textbox. Make sure you set sparse to .F. for the column.

Having a variable field report is tricky. You can create the frx and frt manually. You can also buy a third party product like FoxFire or Query Maker (I think both are available from www.hallogram.com).
