There are several ways to do this. If the mail system is MAPI compliant (e.g. Exchange, Lotus Notes) you can use the MAPI controls included with VFP. Take a look at the Solutions samples that come with VFP.

If it's an SMTP server you can use wwipstuff which is available free from www.west-wind.com. You can also use a third party control. There's one called IDS Mail (I think). You can probably buy it from www.hallogram.com.
