I saw Speedie's demonstration of VMP a couple of years ago. One of the problems he was trying to resolve was the ability of the user to select menu items as a sort of way to get around field validation. He suggests using the Oforms as well as a Oprgs(?) call to ensure that the field is validated prior to calling another screen or a program. I believe he makes that validation call available. Perhaps the way to go is to wrap your "DO FORM" calls with an IF ... ENDIF that calls that validation routine.
