If you have VFP 5 or VFP 3 you can check out ImageEdit (\VFP\IMAGEEDIT). They don't ship it with VFP 6 anymore. In ImageEdit you can open the BMP file, copy it to the clipboard, create a new ICO file and paste it into that file.
