I would suggest you check Rick Strahl's web site for using VFP on the Web
(http://www.west-wind.com). He "wrote the book" so to speak on this topic. As far as Geocities goes they do not allow any server side processing (at least for their free hosting service). That rules out using VFP, java, etc. to extract data from a database or to allow updating from a client/server perspective. I'm not aware of any free hosting services that do but I would love to find one. There are plenty of hosting services that are not free that do allow VFP/VB COM, ASP, JAVA, etc. on the server as well as provide a host of ODBC drivers for data access.
