Mark, thanks for your prompt response to my question. I forgot to mention one of the key ingredients in this recipe, however. The network print job is silent. When the user logs in to the application, they are assigned a network print queue. As a user may log in from many different workstations in a given site (in this case a hospital), we cannot assure that proper print drivers are installed everywhere. That's where my problem emerges.
