Fred,

Thanks for the suggestion, but unfortunately didn't work. Here's a new twist. I called the VB app by using 'Run /n'. When I stripped out the '/n' it appears to be working fine now.

I would still like to know if anyone has any ideas. My guess has to do with resources or something.
