Right Click the Grid and select EDIT
Click a checkbox in th e tool box and draw it on the column you need.
Set the "CURRENTCONTROL" property to the name of the check box - eg chkToggle

You can experiment with a table that has logical fields and using the builder, make the logical field display a check box. Then examine the NONDEFAULT properties to see what has been changed. Then use the above method to add and set up your own.
