Hi,

I connect static, locktype= 4 (unidentified, but it works, courtesy JVP I think) to 10k table in a 100 Mb access db.
The access is reasonable, considering ..., but when I go and extract the data into vfp variable using the Recordsets' fields() methods, it takes for ages.

The time that consumes is proportional to the number of times I execute the method. It does not go back to the server when it does that does it, like when you REPLACE fields :).

TIA,

Marc
