I use the last 7 characters of sys(2015) with a set prefix of 3 letters to generate new primary index keys for tables. Also I replace zeros and "O"s with pre assigned alternate characters to avoid ambiguity for readers if ever the Id numbers are used visually. This means that the generated keys are no longer unique and I have to "seek" the table before adding. Any better ideas to remove zeros and "0"s and still have a unique set?
