Jon,

>One reason I am pissed off is that we paid for a year of upgrades when the company bought the developers license. Kevin Changed HIS end of the deal several months ago, no longer updating for free. As far as I know 4.0 only works with Visual 6.0.>

We do indeed provide free updates to the Framework for all developers who purchased the Framework under this arrangement. Under our new arrangment, developers will continue to receive free service pack updates to the Framework throughout the year (which will include both enhancements and bug fixes) as well as at least one official major release per year.

Although version 4.0+ is billed as VFP6-only, you can for the most part still use it under Visual FoxPro 5, however you miss out on the majority of major enhancements to both the Framework and Visual FoxPro.

>Thanks for the advice and after 2 hours of tearing apart the example, which BTW does have a major bug ( look at PostInitHook and the VPARM_NAME and EXPR which will run-time error on you, hard code that to 1 and 2 and it works), I got the Parent-child working.>

Actually, this is not a bug. VPARM_NAME and VPARM_EXPR are Framework constants. It sounds as if you neglected to set your business object class Include file to "Include\appincl.h". If you do this, then recompile your class library it will resolve the problem.
