Ok, the project has been finished, all files compiled and errors eliminated. I built the project, and all went well too. I then built the excutable. oops! (This is on an NT4.0 machine) I double click on the executable and it loads. Nothing appears on the screen, but in checking NT, it shows the process as loaded.
I end that process, then load VFP. Then by giving the command line
of "DO xx.exe" the program loads and runs like it is supposed to.
When I use the set up wizard to create the installable, it also runs just fine, creating the setup program, cab files, etc. When I try to run the set up program, it will create the subdirectories, then errors out. The message is "There is an error in setup.exe. Run it again" But running it again produces no installation and the same error. What am I forgetting to do here?
