Can anyone tell me what the .fra file is and how it gets created? Is this the file that gets sent to the spooler? I have a report that does not have a .fra file and it sometimes crashes. I notice in the .fra files of other reports that the printer device name that I use on my development machine is tagged into the .fra file under Record. I wonder what relevance does my printer have to a report that gets delivered to other machines. I could see attaching a driver maybe, but the printer name. The reason I say all this is because for another report that I have that crashes(gpf in Kernel32) occasionally, I think that it does this when it gets built with a specific printer attached to it. eg. It saves as HP 680 Deskjet, but when it prints on the customers machine they prefer an HP 6p Laser Jet. Does this make any sense to anyone?

Fraggled on printer drivers,
Mike
