>Well, that the difference between FREE and $600 isn't it? Also, the new CB release is being documented, but, it is non-billable work for the people who do work on it. However, I believe once they get organized, Codebook will be the first successful Windows "Open Source" project.
Bill better sell more stock :)
>That being said, you have to put something into CB to get something out of it. You might have to go scout out the issues of Codebook Newsletter or whatever, to learn it.
Workin' through 'em...
>In my opinion though, the design and code in CB is superior to VPM's framework.
Once I get CB running/working I'll be curious to see the performance difference...VPM seems sluggish to me at times.
>Also keep in mind that CB is JUST a framework while VPM is a RAD tool, there is a difference.
Yeah...it's call TIME!
>It's to bad you have to rely on peer support for a product you pay that much for. It's ashame for VFP too!
It's worse...there are other frameworks that are purchased that don't even offer a peer support network. That's a real shame...let the buyer beware!
