Ok, I see what you mean.... I tried that in a simple test project and got the same results. I was, however, able to *force* attention to the prompt by doing an ALT+ESC, and then ALT+TAB'ing back to the app - not a pretty solution.

I'll experiment some more and see if I find anything...

>That's the bizarre thing. Tab, or any other keyboard input doesn't generate a response from the printer prompt. Even more bizarre -- if I run the exe from with in VFP -- the printer prompt recognizes keyboard input. It's when I run the exe from explorer that the printer prompt looses interest in the keyboard.
