Don't worry you are not alone with this problem.
I had the same problem a few months ago.
The solution (as per microsoft):
- Uninstall VFP5
- Reinstall VFP5 into a new directory
- Search your hard drive for the following files dkcontrol.dbf and dkcontrol.cdx and rename or delete them
- In your working directory, delete or rename wzsetup.ini
- Delete the distrib folder (NOT the distrib.src)
- Rerun the setup wizard on your project
That worked for me.
I had tried reinstalling VFP in its current location but that did
not work.
You really need to reinstall it into another directory (weird...)
