We are using ASP pages to update Visual Fox 5 tables. We are using textareas from our form to update memo fields. We cannot include carriage returns in our textareas, the odbc chokes and generates error:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e14'

[Microsoft][ODBC Visual FoxPro Driver]Command contains unrecognized phrase/keyword.

The only way we can overcome this is to use event handlling to remove the carriage returns. Is this the only way available?
