>>Does anyone understand the vfp century/date system? When I go to Win 95 date/time and change the year to 2000, the vfp date() gives year 2000, which is fine. But when I type a date year to a variable (like 01/05/02), I still get year 1902. Do we know if this will change to 2002 when the century changes to 20?

>Yes, there is a function like ROLLOVER or something like that to tell Visual FoxPro after which year to start in the next century.
Thanks, I found it. It's a parameter to set century, like
SET CENTURY TO 19 ROLLOVER 50
will set all years = or over 50 to 19__ and all years less to 20__
