Lots of ways - you can invoke explorer.exe directly via:

RUN /N explorer command line parameters

or via something like my API_APPRUN class. You can also invoke specific features of Explorer via the Automation Object Shell.Application (this requires that the workstation's shell has been updated to at least version 4.0.)
