>It works properly for me using VFP6 with a inputmask of 99.99. I sounds like the field could be set as text. Also, I am puzzled when you say you use "enter" to move between fields. TAB is the default way of moving between fields. Try the input mask above, if that doesn't work post the properties of one of the text boxes here. Which version of VFP are you using?

If you have no Default button set on a form, Enter and Tab do the same thing if you're in a TextBox--commit your entry and move to the next field. Has been similar since FPW. In fact, in FPW (and maybe VFP 3.0) if you were in a TextBox and hit enter, it didn't fire the Default button, either, it just moved you to the next field like a Tab. (Ctrl-Enter in a TextBox did fire the Default button.)
