>>A few people keep hammering on setting Sparse=.F. I just want to check that I understand one thing about it. Sparse is only important if you have multiple controls in a column, right? If I put a checkbox into a column, then delete the textbox that was there by default, so the column consists only of header and checkbox, I have no need of Sparse=.F., right?

Huh. Seems like pretty stupid design. If there's only one control in the column, why wouldn't it always show it? Or why wouldn't it at least default to always showing it? TextBox controls are always shown regardless of Sparse. Why not CheckBoxes or anything else? OK, I can see cases (many-row combos) where refresh would be too slow if Sparse=.F. But I think it should default to .F., and the developer should have to turn it off if performance is bad.
My usually-not-too-humble opinion! :)
