Since this could result in a lot of unnecessary requerying and table access, may suggest a different approach? This depends on how sophisticated your design is (1-tier basic to n-Tier w/ data objects). A basic approach is to let your controls know when to refresh themselves. For example, my CBO's requery themselves when they get focus. That's the only the whole list needs to be refreshed.

Otherwise, I suppose you could make use of AUSED as a starting point.
