These are the steps we used.

OW=CREATEOBJECT("WORD.APPLICATION")
OW.DOCUMENTS.ADD
OW.SELECTION.TYPETEXT( "ABCDE" )

This last line gives us the Ole - type mismatch error.
This works fine on our machines but crashes at our client site.

Does this sound like a version or service pack issue? Any help you can give us in regards to this problem would be greatly appreciated.
