i'm glad that you came here for a visit, you're wellcome anytime, only that the beaches are now in a reconstruction process, after the mitch disaster there were lots of floodings.

Try this so i can be understood, create a form, attach a command button, then a text button, afterwards, another button. Now set the properies to have an input mask, use the generator so you set the text button to work as numeric with a default value of 0 or 0.00. Now run it, first you have the button, in the text region you have 0.00 move with the mouse to the begining of the field and input a number like 254. at this point you'll have {254 0.00} then move with the cursors to the nex button (you can use TAB or the mouse). Voila! >:( (grrrrr) again the text button has 2540.00 and you typed 254. I tried it on a machin with vb with the same result, also we (at work) tried on other form with the same result, ain't it anoying? As a alternative i downloaded the program that works as a calculator (from left to rigth) but it does'nt work with the enter key nor the backspace!

P.S. I also was at the US. studying at maryland! Washington what a place!
