I have tried to initialize in the init of the form a public variable with a number then set the controlsource to that variable. Doesn´t work for me. furthermore, i saw the problem using a wizard wich has all the controlsource properties set to a field in a file, numeric and non numeric. The same result. in order to modify the click event, i would have to do it on all the fields of my proyect, isn't there a better solution?

I agree with the windows style behaviour, but still adds my new value to the left of the old value and i would like a dos or windows foxpro behaviour
