We are upgrading so that we can get out of the DOS environment. The problem is we have a huge accounting app that needs to stay alive while we develop our full blown VFP 6.0 app. The idea is to compile the DOS app under VFP 6.0 and make it work, although it may look a bit ugly. At that time, we could go module by module and upgrade to VFP 6.0 power tools, while allowing the new and the old to continue to talk to each under under the same environment. At least, that's the idea. Who knows.
