I am developing remote servers for data access. I am using a home network which consists of NT Workstation (SP4) and couple Win98 machines. I use DCOM. When I call remote server it does take any time (normally) but sometimes it takes unusual amount of time and sometimes remote server never responds at all. What would that be a configuration issue? Or may be I need to change priority for my server (dont know how to do that<g>)? Can somebody put some light on that?
