Michel, in one of my forms I work with 3 instances of the same table open with different aliases in DE, I do this in DE BeforeOpenTables, (or DE Init()) like
this.Cursor3.CursorSource="myTable.dbf".
(In my case it is a little more complicated, because I add function to define path to currently selected company data files).
