Primary keys must be unique considering all records, including deleted records, unless you have a !deleted() filter on the primary key. Remember that deleting a record/row doesn't remove the record.
>Well first of all I am getting a Unique Index Violation. I have a primary index in their which is not allowing similiar entries but I thought UPDATE or DELETE and INSERT work around it. I mean to say is that either old records are removed and replaced or deleted and added, respectively.
