Benn,

VFP5a, video @ 1024x765x64k created a form that is 1000x650, put a textnox on it with DragMode=Automatic, and an editbox in the lower right corner with this DragDrop method: debugout oSource.Name

The obejct outline shows the whole time the textbox is dragged, and the editbox tells me it if I drop the textbox on it.

Have you tried another system with a different video driver? Or tried just a simple baseclass case like this?

>>>If you DragDrop an object on a "Top Level Form", strange things happens.
>>>If your screen resolution is 800x600 the dragged object disappears when it is dragged outside 640x480. The same thing happens on every screen resolution we have tried. ???
>>
>>Are you using native VFP drag & drop or OLE drag & drop. I'm just wondering if there is a difference here between the two.
