>I created a setup set of a distributable application ( for network ), that is working fine on the system on which it is installed, but the systems are connected peer-to-peer network of windows 95, I want the same set of database to be updated by running the application by creating an icon on the desktop on every other computer, but it gives me an error Microsoft Visual Foxpro Support Files not found.
You must install the Visual FoxPro runtime files properly on each workstation, along with any ActiveX components required for your applications. it is not sufficient to copy the files in place; a number of registry entries must be created, and some or all stations may need to have their shared components upgraded as well.
At a minimum, create a distribution disk set containing the Visual FoxPro runtime file set and any ActiveX components and
run the install on each workstation. You can manually create shortcuts to point to your network directories. I repeat, the runtime files must be installed on each system.
