Jim,
Robert Green was at our Fox User Group last night. He took ideas from the group on ways Microsoft can be more responsive to us as developers. He stated that MS does a good job of listening to beta testers during the betas, but a not so good job after the product ships. This includes: getting bug reports from people and letting us know what they are, and disseminating their knowledge to us. He also stated that when he comes here and checks messages, he is looking for marketing stuff. His job is marketing and that's the kinds of things he looks for. Other people will look for things that are their job.
