That's a good approach; you can create a NetSetup and keep it on the LAN, so that all they need to do is run it to load up the runtime and related files.

BTW, there's no need to apologize for not knowing about the registry requirements for installation. Lots of people aren't aware of the requirements for installation the first time they have to put up an app that doesn't run on a system where VFP has already been installed.
