I'm doing this without any problems. Which version of VMP4 are you using? Have you tried playing around with the 'sparce' property at all?

>I am going crazy trying to add a checkbox based on chkxxbase to a olumn of a grid. It gets added fine...its when I try to check the box it won't check. I saw where its built into the class to return a false if the grid or column is readonly. I set the grid's readonly to .f. and the columns readonly to .f. However, when I debug I see that the column's readonly gets set back to .t.. I have tried setting the readonly property of the column programmatically all over the place and still when I run the form the readonly property for the column is back to .t.. This problem does not exist if I add VFP's base checkbox to the column.
