Thanks for your reply. I have a little exposure to RoboHelp and a couple of others, but haven't spent any time with these tools in quite awhile. Maybe I'll revisit them for the sake of comparison.

PowerHelp looked attractive because it supposedly works specifically with a VFP progect to automatically generate a help file that you can later edit manually. If this tool can actually build a help "framework" to get me started, it it could save a lot of time.
